Recruitment Guide For IBPS Clerk 2021

One of the most sought after exams in the banking sector, the IBPS Clerk exam is conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. More than ten Public Sector Banks participate in this recruitment drive and release vacancies to appoint candidates at the clerical post. 

There is slight uncertainty if the 2021 recruitment for this post shall be conducted by the Institute like every year or through the Common Eligibility Test under National Recruitment Agency. This shall be notified once the official announcement or notification is released by the conducting body.

IBPS Clerk 2021 – All You Need To Know

The tentative exam schedule for the clerical cadre examination has been released by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection, and the official notification may tentatively release by June/July 2021. Thus, given below are all the important points regarding the recruitment process for the convenience of the candidates. 

  • Official Notification & Application Process

Once a candidate goes through the eligibility details, he/she can fill in the application form and register for the examination. Personal information, educational qualification, category details, exam centre, etc., can all be entered in the form along with a scanned copy of the signature, thumb impression, passport size photograph and a handwritten declaration

  • Scheme of Selection

The exam is conducted in two stages of online examination, prelims and mains. Given below is the exam pattern in brief:

  1. Set a well planned time table with equal time distribution for the preparation of each subject
  2. Focus on solving mock tests and practise papers
  3. Analyse the previous year question papers to apprehend the standard of examination
  4. Focus on time management as there is sectional time to attempt questions under each subject
  5. Look for online or offline assistance, if needed
  6. Check the cut off to analyse the trend increase or decrease in the minimum qualifying marks over the years
